Hey, I'm Saral. I'm an engineer currently tinkering away on robots and building electric racecars while studying ECE at Carnegie Mellon University
I started my journey in the maker movement at the age of 12 in Singapore. I've always been fueled by my passion for engaging in hardcore engineering and sharing that passion with more people. In accord, I've spent the last 10 years doing everything from building award-winning inventions and apps, starting my own Computer Science education company featured by the government of Singapore, speaking at tech conventions, and even judging a robotics competition on national television

Various inventions, hacks, robots, and apps I've worked on
A mobile app to help runners, bikers, and the general public easily find water and toilet points closest to their location.
Built on Flutter and Firestore, the app uses GeoCoding to lazy-load results for a faster experience.
A dynamic 4WD traction control system for CMR's 2021 FSAE electic car.
The final traction control system will also utlize toqrue stearing and active aerodynamics on top of traditional stability control.
A project to replicate certain self-driving features on my car using only RGB cameras
I'm buidling ML regressors and robotics models to enable self-driving features on my car such as lane-keep, localization, route-planning etc
Taught over 4100 students from 133 countries through my online CS, robotics, and electronics courses.
Featured by the Singaporean government for the CodeSG initiative and got my curriculum accredited by Microsoft MakeCode.
Created a YouTube crash-course series with 220,000 viewers and Instructables project-blog with 320,000 views.
Assembled and helped design "Beast 2.0" 3D printer for National University Singapore, RedHat Linux, and AStar.
Engaged in R&D of 3D Printing technologies such as heater cores, digital stepper controllers, multi-extruders etc.
